Currently there are a great deal of rumours floating around the market place in regards to Apple's new mobile/cell phone the iPhone 5. In particular it is quite hard to determine if there is in fact any truth behind these rumours which are most likely superficial and are from people who are in no way connected to Apple. There has however been speculation from people who believe that this could just be a strategy by Apple to build hype for the iPhone 5 or possibly could just be an attempt to divert attention away from definitive Apple iPhone 4 problems.
Make no mistake however, the iPhone 4 is still a great product. The model is more technologically advanced than its predecessors and as such is the first of its kind to offer multitasking features. It also has such features as a Retina Eye display and a fantastic 5 mega pixel camera. It appears that somewhere down the line however that Apple has lost its way.
The iPhone 4 has been plagued with problems, such as, call drops and antenna issues. This has caused a large amount of negitivity from critics who have unnecessarily slated Apple. What they tend to forget however is that this is still the same model which sold 1.7 million units within the first few days of its launch. From then on the company has sold more than 14 million more units of this phone. When producing such large volumes of products such as the iPhone 4, a certain number of complaints are really just to be expected, they could even be considered normal. One of the other factors which has also hindered it was that it was not released in many Asian countries. This was made worse when Apple did not release White iPhone 4, resulting in people deriding the company.
The biggest rumour curently circling the internet is that the Apple iPhone 5 is going to be released this summer. Apple has released its new iPhone into the market at the same time of year consecutively year on year as part of its fixed cycle. This is the ideal season for the company to release their new model because it allows the new product time to establish itself within the market. Also by not releasing it until the summer, this gives Apple plenty of time to come out with both an innovative and new product at a time of year when people are looking for something new, innovative and more advanced to buy.
Due to stiff competition from other major players within the market, the Apple iphone 5 rumours, which have been circling, may just be a reflection on how Apple, is being affected in the market place. Apple is certainly being affected now that customers have other options apart from just theirs and are certain to have some tough times ahead. The Android is very similar to the iPhone 4 and offers users a similar experience. The HTC Desire HD and the Samsung Galaxy 5 are other options which offer customers a similar if not better experience than the iPhone 4.
There are a considerable number of people who are expectantly hoping that the Apple iPhone 5 will be released ahead of schedule, before its suspected June - July date. It is however safe to assume that when the new model is finally introduced to the market, that Apple would have corrected the problems found with the iPhone 4 resulting in better reception and antenna quality.
Apple has neither confirmed or denied any of the rumours so far but this hasen't stopped the large majority of mobile/cell phone websites online from speculating about the new iPhone.
The rumours give a good indication that the new version will have a much more complex operating system than the iPhone 4 has. This will improve the iPhone's ability to recieve access to 4G networks. There will also be a performance boost with the model's new 1.5 GHz processor. A new battery will also be included offering 7 hours of talk time on 4G networks and 14 hours on 3G networks.
Predicted memory features on the iPhone 5 are expected to be at around 32 and 64 GB, far exceeding the memory capacity of the iPhone 4, meaning that users will be able to both download and store more data and a considerably large amount of videos, songs and pictures.
Going by these rumours, the iPhone 5 is going to have a 4 inch display screen which is bigger than the traditional display screen. Now, this is something of a deviation for Apple since its other models come with a 3.5 inch display screen. The OLED touch screen display is shatter proof and also scratch proof which means you can use it as you please without worrying about any scratches or stains. You can also experience high quality pictures and images with a lot of clarity.
The new Apple iPhone 5 is expected to be powered by an Apple dual core A5 CPU and will have NFC support, as well as some amazing graphics. It is believed that there is a strong likelihood that it will contain more innovative features than its earlier versions. Including an 8 mega pixel camera which will greatly exceed the 5MP camera currently available on the iPhone 4. More of the advanced features could include an auto focus and GeoTagging for example, as well as, many more features which will improve overall image and video quality.
If these rumours are indeed true, then this would indicate that the Apple iPhone 5 will be the most advanced smart phone, ever to be released on the market. Even without any confirmation from Apple, there are still a number of large mobile/cell phone websites which are strongly encouraging people that the iPhone 5, will be the ultimate product and will be in high demand in the market place.
If one goes by what the rumours are saying, then there are so many features to iPhone 5 that it will definitely take the world by storm. What these rumours have done is they have created a huge hype around the new model. Considering the fact that Apple has been under pressure due to its earlier problems with the iPhone 4, this hype would suit the company well as it helps in creating a loyal customer base even before the product is launched in the market place.
There are a lots of people who are contacting Apple dealers in order to try and find out if there are any special iPhone 5 deals. However seeing as Apple has given no official word, then you will just have to wait for the big day.
