Search Info On BlackBerries

My brother came to me for advice recently. He said "I've heard that all jailbreak software websites are scams". He said that he had heard from multiple sources that there was actually no such thing as software to jailbreak your programs, and the only way to actually unlock was to hire a rogue geek.
I found this out: Normally, in order to crack an iPhone, an elite gang of hackers from some Eastern bloc country will spend months poring over hundreds of thousands of lines of code within the iPhone's IOS. It's extremely difficult to crack an iPhone, and it takes these teams to do it. It would take an average person a lifetime to do so. Now, tons of people around the world are rocking cracked iPhones. Is it more likely that they've all devoted their lives to learning how to do this, or is it more likely that they're doing it somehow automatically? Are there really that many elite hackers in the world?
Or are they purchasing jailbreak software and hacking their iPhone/iPad/iPod in an automated fashion?
If you don't believe that you're the only jailbroken iPhone owner who isn't an elite hacker, then have you ever pondered where they're obtaining the jailbreaking programs? Do they purchase it at Walmart with their peanut butter? Or do you think that it's more likely that they're obtaining it from a website? If all websites vending applications to hack your cell phone were illegitimate, then no one would possess a cracked iPhone except for a handful of elite geeks.
Ok - 2nd point: Each website offering applications for hacking is willing to accept Paypal. Paypal exists to make sure that you don't get taken for a rid by a scam artist online. If you pay for merchandise on the Internet with Paypal, and the vendor absconds with your dough or sends you merchandise or software that doesn't meet your expectations, then you can get a refund via Paypal with two clicks - no questions asked. If these jailbreak businesses were stealing people's money, then everyone whom they conned would be obtaining refunds, and the webpages would not make any cash. So, as this illustrates, they possess no reason to con their clients.
So- does that add up for you? Do you understand what I deciphered? Do you see why it's completely safe to buy jailbreak software from an online vendor?
