Ringtones for iPhone

If information on how to download ringtones for iPhone is what you seek, then you've arrived at the optimal place to find it. Apple's iPhone is an absolute juggernaut when it comes to sales. It's smashing all records in the industry for widespread adoption. And that's not even factoring in sales of apps and ringtones.

With the absolute glut of iPhone on the international market, it's not shocking that the market for related accessories is growing just as quickly. While iPhone sales are worth billions every year, apps and related utilities are probably worth tens of billions in sales. Ringtones are only a small piece of the puzzle. Apple made a genius like move in making it so that apps and accessories had to be made specifically for their phone. So you can't just buy any generic accessories or software and expect it to work. Because of this, developers and manufacturers are creating themes, apps, wallpapers, and more at an almost alarming rate.

One of the largest markets of all, with the highest demands, is that of individuals who wish to download ringtones. But why should this be so? After all, ringtones would seem to be almost an after-thought; a generic accoutrement. Not the case, my friend. A ringtone can make people notice your iPhone. And that's why the demand is so high. They hear your annoying ringtone, and then watch as you take out your phone like the ultra mod dude or dudette that you are.

Everyone will see it and be jealous. And, as I said, the best way to flaunt the fact that you have an iPhone is to have a bitchin' ringtone that demands attention.

Finding ringtones online is ridiculously easy. Just be cautious of where you download them from, since some can contain adware and viruses. If you're strapped for cash, you can actually just set a song from your iTunes library as your ringtone. Just make sure that you like the beginning of the song, since the first 30 seconds or so will be used as your actual ringtone. If you want a different part to play, then you'll simply have to use an audio editor to snip the section of the song that you like and create a separate MP3 file out of it.

Rather than going through all of that rigamarole though, it's often easier to just pony up the $.99 or whatever and download paid ringtones. Tons of places online offer these for sale. They're often completely legal, although you'll want to double-check. Artists agree to allow them to be offered for free since it's such great exposure for them.

What you do is to download ringtones to your PC or Mac, and then load them (or Sync them) to your phone through iTunes. In fact, there is an app available in the app store that will allow you to download songs directly from a website and make it a ringtone while bypassing iTunes. How awesome is that?

If you dig through the app store, you'll actually find a horde of apps for this purpose - for making it easier to get 3rd party ringtones into your phone without going through iTunes. I highly suggest that you download one today!
