Cellfservices a BlackBerry unlock code comapny has proclaimed that they are able to unlock the BlackBerry 9700 locked to T-mobile, Bell, Telus, AT&T, Rogers, Orange, Vodafone and publicized that they can unlock any GSM BlackBerry from over 800 network carriers worldwide. GSM refers to phones with a SIM card slot. We tested their mighty proposal and just received a subsidy unlock code for the BlackBerry 9700 in under one minute! I checked my work e-mail address and they redirected me to their live tracking page where I was able to see the unlock code and unlocking instructions for my Vodafone BlackBerry 9700. I clicked on the link which took me to their video tutorial and I followed along. Sure enough, my phone is unlocked now and is ready to use on any GSM network carrier!

In the spirit of "sales", they set the BlackBerry 9700 MEP unlock codes on sale for as low as $16.99 and even the other ones only go up to $21.99. I expect you think this is a scam since it's SO cheap. I thought so too, but after doing a through review of Cellfservices, they only have positive feedback all over the internet.

I'd like to personally thank BlackBerry manufacturers for such a sleek and beautifully made phone. I've been a BlackBerry owner for quite some time and this is definitely the best phone by far!

Now what are the benefits of unlocking your BlackBerry? I spoke a Cellfservices representative named David and he ran me through the benefits of unlocking my Bold 9700. The magnificence of unlocking this smartphone is that it supports pretty much all GSM radios from any network worldwide. This means you can use this BlackBerry when you are travelling with pay as you go services in your country of travel. This will save you a lot of cash since you will for sure eradicate your roaming costs.

I tried this by buying a cheap prepaid phone when I went on my excavation through East Europe, but the horrible thing is that I ended up buying 6 prepaid phones for the different countries I went to. This ended up costing me about 80 Euros which comes out to over a hundred bucks. Also the downside of doing this was that I didn't have any of my contacts, I was missing my QWERTY keyboard and most of all, I couldn't use my data services because roaming would have made me sell my house.

I will be present at a conference and will be flying out to London where I will use their prepaid/pay as you go with my unlocked Bold 9700. I am excited to experience the real savings! The plan makes sense! I believe there's about 8 network carriers in the United Kingdom to work with, so I'll go with the one that is the cheapest and offers BlackBerry data. Hopefully this will help some of you who are traveling save a ton of money on roaming fees!
